QUESTIONS + ANSWERS

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY OWN PLANS MADE?

Each of our custom build projects is unique. Some clients arrive with their plans already complete while others arrive with a completely blank slate. Wherever you are in your design process, you'll work with our team of professionals to ensure your project is built exactly the way you want it.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT YET?

That's okay! We are happy to work with you every step of the way, from finding the perfect piece of land to the first time you unlock that front door and beyond.

WHO WILL WORK ON MY PROJECT?

Depending on the requirements of your build, you'll work with a combination of our talented employees and subcontractors. Meet our team of talented employees here.

HOW DO I CHOOSE EVERYTHING?

This is entirely up to you! Before we begin your project, you'll be provided with a list of items to select for your home - think roofing, siding, flooring, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, trim, doors, stairs, railings, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. From there, you tell us how much assistance you'd like from us for each of the selections and we work together to find everything you need.

WHAT IF I NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE AFTER MY PLANS ARE DONE?

No big deal! When we say "custom" we really do mean custom. Depending on the changes, we may need to speak with the original designer or an engineer to confirm that the structural integrity of the building is still in tact, but just about anything can be adjusted.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost of your build is determined entirely by the choices we make throughout the project. Before we begin, you'll work with us to develop a budget that makes sense for you. We'll discuss your "must-haves" as well as our recommendations for areas that are worth spending a little extra and areas that can lend some cost-savings. From there, we'll set a budget for all of your big-ticket selections - cabinetry, flooring, siding, etc. Remember that you are never committed to a specific price range; if the perfect item is under or over budget, we can make the informed decision to change the budget, or look for other areas to absorb the additional cost.
